7:14 PRAYER AND FASTING 2026 AM

As we kick off 2026, we are preparing for our 7:14 period of prayer and fasting. For the last three years, we have been on a 'Disciple-Shift' journey together, and this year we are building on that foundation with a focused theme: Creating Disciples. In our daily devotionals for the 7:14 prayer call, we’re going to explore the biblical meanings of 'create'—looking at the Hebrew word bara and the Greek word ktizo—and link them to the four pillars of 2 Chronicles 7:14: Humility, Prayer, Seeking, and Turning. We want to remember that while only God can perform the ultimate act of creation, our prayer is how we partner with God in that work.
Now, for this period, we are doing a different kind of fasting... some might call it a soul fast. Instead of focusing on food, we are going to fast from noise, speed, busyness, and complexity. In their place, we are going to intentionally focus on solitude and silence, slowing down, Sabbath, and simplicity. This is about clearing the clutter so we can truly hear from God.
Here is the schedule:
- Our prayer calls begin on Wednesday, January 7th, at 7:14 AM.
- From January 7th through Wednesday, January 14th, we’ll meet twice daily: once at 7:14 AM and again at 7:14 PM.
